Eszter Radák

With their vibrant colours, deceptive lines, and sardonic titles, Eszter Radák's works have been exhibited around the world.

They are now found in dozens of public and private collections ranging from the Hungarian National Gallery,  via LENTOS in Linz, Austria, to the Shashoua Collection in London.

Eszter is currently the President (Rector) of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (MKE) in Budapest and the leader of the EU-funded project to create the first European University for the Arts (EU4Art) along with academies in Rome, Riga and Dresden,

News: Eszter új önálló kiállítása megtekinthető június 12. és július 30. között a Virág Judit Galériában. Két volt mestere - Maurer Dóra és Keserü Ilona – és nagy támogatója, Bak Imre, képei is láthatók lesznek a galéria másik szintjén. Nádler István, Fajó János, Fehér László, Lakner László, Csontváry és Rippl-Rónai is lesz. Sajnos nincs megnyitó!

(My wife) Eszter’s latest exhibition is finally being held at the Judit Virág Gallery from June 12 to July 30. If you happen to be in Budapest, make an appointment and take a look (lots of paintings by Hungarian masters on another level of the gallery as well, including work by Eszter’s former teacher Dóra Maurer, who recently had an exhibition at the Tate). If you can’t make it to Budapest, most of the new works can be seen on the gallery’s website.
